How do I know which tyre size I need?

Read the sidewall of a current tyre — something like 235/55 R19 — or check the sticker inside the driver's door frame. Tell me that code, or just your plate number and model year, and I will pull the fitment and quote it. If the car is running a non-standard size we will confirm on arrival before anything is mounted.

What does fitting cost on top of the tyres?

Fitting is AED 30 per tyre and balancing AED 25 per wheel, so a standard set of four is AED 220 all in. Valve replacement is AED 10 each and nitrogen fill is AED 15 per tyre. Disposal of the old tyres is free and we hand you the balance printout.

What do tyres actually cost here?

A 16-inch budget sedan tyre starts around AED 280, mid-range touring tyres for a 17 or 18-inch car run AED 420 to AED 620 each, and 20-inch SUV and performance tyres are AED 850 to AED 1,600. We stock Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, Yokohama and Kumho. Anything not on the shelf is here within 24 hours from our Ras Al Khor warehouse.

How long does a full set take?

Four tyres fitted and balanced takes about 45 minutes if you arrive at your booked slot, and an alignment adds another hour. Book before 10:00am or after 3:00pm to avoid the fleet rush. There is an air-conditioned waiting room with wifi, so most customers stay with the car.

How often should tyres be replaced in the UAE?

Regardless of tread, we replace at five years from the DOT date code and inspect closely from three, because UAE surface temperatures break down rubber long before the tread runs out. Legal minimum tread here is 1.6mm, but in summer heat we advise changing at 3mm. Read the four-digit DOT code on the sidewall — 2724 means week 27 of 2024.

Do I need an alignment every time?

Not always, but we check the wear pattern on the old tyres first and tell you honestly. Four-wheel alignment is AED 150 and is worth doing if you see uneven shoulder wear, the steering pulls, or you have hit a kerb or a Dubai pothole. Alignment done at the same visit as a full set is AED 120.

Can you repair a puncture instead of selling me a tyre?

Yes, where the damage allows it. A plug and internal patch is AED 40 and takes about 20 minutes. We will not repair sidewall damage, a cut wider than 6mm, or a tyre that has been run flat, because none of those hold safely at UAE speeds and temperatures.

Do you fix kerbed or buckled rims?

We assess rims in a 45-minute slot and quote from there. Cosmetic kerb rash refinishing is AED 250 to AED 400 per wheel, and straightening a buckled alloy is AED 300 to AED 550 depending on the damage. Cracked or structurally bent rims we decline and say so rather than patch them.

Is there a warranty and can I cancel a booking?

Tyres carry the manufacturer warranty against defects, typically five years from the DOT date, and our fitting workmanship is covered for twelve months including free re-balancing. Bookings can be moved or cancelled free of charge at any time before the slot. Special-order tyres take a 25 percent deposit that is refundable until we place the order.
