What does the first appointment involve?

The first visit is a 90-minute assessment with a licensed speech and language therapist. For children it combines standardised testing, structured play and a parent interview; for adults it is a case history plus formal assessment. You receive a written report with findings and a recommended therapy plan within five working days.

How much do sessions cost?

The initial assessment is AED 850 including the written report. Individual 45-minute therapy sessions are AED 420, and 30-minute sessions for younger children are AED 320. Blocks of ten sessions are AED 3,800, and blocks of twenty are AED 7,200, both valid for six months.

Do you take insurance?

We are on the provider network for Daman, AXA, MetLife and Oman Insurance, and most plans cover speech therapy with a prior approval and a physician referral. We submit the approval on your behalf, which usually takes three to five working days. For other insurers we issue a DHA-coded invoice you can claim back yourself.

Can I choose which therapist we see?

Yes. You can pick by specialism, by language, or by continuing with whoever did your assessment. Our team covers English and Arabic, and two therapists also work in Hindi. Tell me in chat what you are looking for and I will show you who is available.

How long does therapy usually take?

It depends entirely on the assessment, but a typical plan is one or two sessions per week for a block of ten to twenty sessions, then a formal review. Articulation work in preschool children often resolves within one or two blocks. Complex language, fluency or post-stroke work usually runs longer and is reviewed every ten sessions.

Can the assistant tell me whether my child has a speech delay?

No. This assistant handles logistics only, such as fees, availability, therapist matching and booking, and it does not give medical or clinical advice or any kind of diagnosis. Any question about your child's development or a suitable treatment approach is answered by a licensed therapist at the assessment. If you are unsure whether to come in, book the assessment and ask there.

What are your opening hours?

Sunday to Thursday 8:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm. We are closed on Fridays. After-school slots between 3:30pm and 6:30pm are the most requested and usually book out two to three weeks ahead, so plan around that if you need them.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your slot at no charge. Inside 24 hours, or a no-show, is charged at the full session fee and is deducted from a package block. Sessions missed because of a documented illness are rescheduled free of charge once per block.

Do you work with schools and do home visits?

We provide school-based sessions and observation visits across Umm Suqeim, Jumeirah and Al Safa at AED 550 per session including travel. Home visits are AED 600 per session within a 15km radius of the clinic. Both require a completed clinic assessment first so the therapist arrives with an agreed plan.
