What bikes can I hire?

Carbon road bikes with Shimano 105 or Ultegra, hardtail and full-suspension mountain bikes, city hybrids, step-through e-bikes, kids bikes from 20 inch, and two child trailers. Fleet sizes run from XS to XL and every bike is serviced between hires. Tell me your height and what riding you have planned and I will pick the frame.

What does it cost?

City hybrid AED 60 half-day or AED 90 full day. Mountain bike AED 130 a day, carbon road bike AED 150 a day, e-bike AED 180 a day, kids bike AED 45 a day. Weekly rates are five days for the price of seven — a road bike for a week is AED 750.

How long is a hire period?

Half-day is four hours, full day is 24 hours from handover, and multi-day hires run to the same clock time on the return date. Late returns are charged at a quarter of the daily rate per hour up to a full extra day. If you want to extend, message me before the return time and I will check the bike is not booked out.

Do you take a deposit?

A card pre-authorisation, not a charge: AED 500 for hybrids, kids bikes and mountain bikes, AED 1,500 for carbon road bikes and e-bikes. It is released within three working days of a clean return. We also need to see a passport, Emirates ID or driving licence at handover.

Is a helmet included?

Yes, a fitted helmet comes free with every bike and is mandatory for riders under 18 and on all guided rides. We also include a front and rear light, a bottle cage and a pump. Locks are AED 15 a day and a saddlebag with tube, levers and CO2 is AED 25 a day.

Can you deliver the bike to me?

We deliver anywhere in Dubai for AED 60 each way, free on hires of three days or more or on any order over AED 500. Delivery slots are two hours wide between 7:00am and 7:00pm. Al Qudra, Nad Al Sheba and Sharjah deliveries carry an AED 100 supplement.

What happens if the bike is damaged or stolen?

Punctures and normal wear are on us. Crash damage is charged at parts plus AED 120 an hour labour, capped at the deposit for hybrids and at AED 3,500 for carbon frames. Theft is the hirer's liability, so always use the lock, and optional damage cover at AED 25 a day caps your exposure at AED 300.

Do you run guided rides?

Yes. A two-hour guided coastal ride from the shop to Jumeirah and back is AED 120 per person including the bike, running Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00am and Saturday at 6:30am. We also do a Sunday Al Qudra loop for confident road riders at AED 200 with van support.

Where do I collect and park?

The shop is on Jumeirah Beach Road near the Kite Beach entrance, Umm Suqeim 2. There is free two-hour street parking directly outside and a paid public lot 200 metres north. Handover takes about fifteen minutes including sizing and a safety check, so allow for that.
