What does it cost to use a broker?

Nothing for personal lines. Motor, home and individual health quotes are free to you because the insurer pays us a commission built into the premium you would pay anyway. For complex commercial programmes we charge a placement fee of AED 1,500, agreed in writing before we start, and it is disclosed on your invoice.

What kinds of insurance do you place?

Comprehensive and third-party motor, individual and family health, home buildings and contents, travel, and for businesses group medical, professional indemnity, public liability, property and workmen's compensation. We are registered with the UAE Central Bank and hold agencies with more than twenty insurers, so we compare rather than push one carrier.

What do policies typically cost?

Comprehensive motor starts around AED 1,800 a year for a mid-range saloon with clean history. A DHA essential benefits health plan for an individual is about AED 850 a year, while family plans run AED 6,000 to AED 18,000 depending on network. Home contents cover starts at AED 450 and SME group medical starts around AED 1,200 per employee per year.

Can you tell me which policy I should buy?

Not in this chat. I can explain what each cover type does, what documents are needed and what the process looks like, but I do not give insurance or financial advice and cannot recommend a specific product. What do you need from me to prepare a quote?

For motor: Emirates ID, driving licence, Mulkiya and any no-claims certificate. For health: Emirates ID, passport copy with visa page, and dates of birth for everyone to be covered. For business cover: trade licence, headcount and last year's claims history. Send them through and quotes usually come back within one working day.

Do you help when I need to make a claim?

Yes, and it is free — claims handling is part of the service for as long as you hold the policy with us. We file the notification, chase the surveyor and push the insurer on settlement, and you deal with one named person rather than a call centre. For motor accidents send us the police report and photos within 48 hours.

How does renewal work?

We contact you 30 days before expiry with your existing insurer's renewal terms alongside two or three alternative quotes, so you can see whether the increase is market-wide or specific to you. Health policies renewing under a company plan need 45 days because of Dubai insurance regulator submission timelines.

Where are you and what are your hours?

Bay Square Building 6, Business Bay, Dubai, with paid basement parking and two visitor bays reserved on the ground level. We are open Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday 10:00am to 2:00pm by appointment only, closed Sunday. Most consultations run on video call rather than in person.

Can I cancel a policy mid-term?

Usually yes, with a pro-rata refund minus the insurer's short-period charge, which is typically 20 to 25 percent of the unused premium. Motor policies with a claim already registered are generally not refundable. Give us the request in writing and we handle the cancellation with the insurer and confirm the refund figure first.
