What does the first visit cost?

The smile consultation is free and takes 30 minutes. Dr. Zubair looks at your bite, discusses what is realistic and gives you an indicative price range and timeline in writing before you commit to anything. If you decide to go ahead, the records appointment — photographs, a 3D scan and an OPG x-ray — is AED 750 and that fee is deducted from your treatment total.

How much do braces and aligners cost?

Metal braces are AED 14,000 to AED 18,000 for a full course, ceramic braces AED 18,000 to AED 22,000, and clear aligners AED 16,000 to AED 26,000 depending on how many trays your case needs. Every price is all-in: it covers all adjustment visits, emergency repairs, the debond and your first set of retainers. There are no per-visit charges on top.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Standard terms are 20 percent on the day the appliance is fitted and the balance spread interest-free over the length of your treatment, so a AED 18,000 case at 20 months is AED 3,600 down and AED 720 a month. We take post-dated cheques or a card on file, and we can shorten or lengthen the plan to fit your budget within reason.

How long will treatment take?

Most adult cases run 18 to 24 months, teenage cases 14 to 20 months, and minor crowding or relapse cases can finish in 6 to 9 months. You are seen every six to eight weeks for braces or every ten weeks for aligners. Dr. Zubair gives you an estimated finish date at the records appointment and reviews it every six months.

Do you accept insurance?

Orthodontics is excluded from most UAE plans, but a handful of premium Daman, MetLife and Cigna policies pay a fixed lifetime orthodontic benefit, usually AED 5,000 to AED 10,000. Send us your policy schedule and the front desk will check and submit a pre-authorisation before you start. Anything not covered goes onto the instalment plan.

Can I choose which orthodontist I see?

Dr. Farah Zubair handles adult aligner cases, complex bites and surgical-orthodontic planning. Dr. Omar Kassem sees children and teenagers, early interceptive treatment and retainer reviews. Choose either when you book and I will only offer you slots that person has open.

A bracket came off — what do I do?

Keep the bracket if it is loose on the wire, cover any sharp end with the orthodontic wax from your starter kit, and message us. Repairs are included in your treatment fee and we hold emergency slots at 9:00am and 4:00pm every working day. Repeated breakages from hard or sticky food may be charged at AED 300 after the third one.

What happens after the braces come off?

You get a fixed wire bonded behind the lower front teeth and a clear removable retainer for the upper arch, both included in your treatment price. Wear the removable one nightly for life; teeth move back if you stop. Replacement retainers are AED 1,200 a set and retainer check visits are AED 250 once treatment is complete.

Where are you and when are you open?

Uptown Motor City, Dubai, above the pharmacy on the courtyard side, with free basement parking for patients. We are open Saturday to Thursday 9:00am to 7:00pm and closed Friday. Adjustment appointments are short, so we run late-afternoon slots from 4:00pm for school and office schedules.
