What does a power of attorney cost?

A special power of attorney limited to one purpose is AED 220 in notary fees, and a general power of attorney is AED 320. Drafting by our team is AED 250 on top if you do not bring your own text. A company power of attorney signed by a manager is AED 400.

What do I need to bring?

Original Emirates ID and passport for every signatory, plus the same for the person receiving a power of attorney or a clear copy of their ID. Company matters also need the trade licence, memorandum of association and the shareholder or board resolution. Everything must be original — we cannot notarise from photos.

Can the assistant tell me what to put in my document?

No. This assistant does not give legal advice and will not draft or interpret clauses for you. It confirms which documents and IDs to bring, quotes the fee and books your slot. A notary or the lawyer we refer you to reviews the wording with you in the appointment.

Do documents need to be in Arabic?

Yes. Notarised documents in the UAE are executed in Arabic, usually in a bilingual Arabic-English format. We provide certified legal translation in-house at AED 90 per page with a 24-hour turnaround, or AED 140 per page for same-day. Bring an editable file if you have one, as it speeds things up.

How long is an appointment and how soon can I come?

Most notarisations take 20 to 30 minutes in the room once the paperwork is prepared. Company signings with several shareholders take 45 minutes. We usually have slots the next working day, and same-day slots open around 8:00am if there is a cancellation.

Can all signatories attend remotely?

The UAE offers remote notarisation by video for many document types, and we run those sessions from 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday. All parties still need a valid UAE-registered mobile number, a UAE Pass account and their original ID on camera. Some documents, including certain real estate matters, must be signed in person.

Do you notarise company incorporation documents?

Yes — memoranda of association, amendments, share transfers, board resolutions and manager appointments for mainland companies. MOA notarisation is charged as a government percentage of share capital, so bring the capital figure and I will give you the exact number before you book.

What about attestation and legalisation?

Notarisation is only the first step. Documents going abroad usually also need attestation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, currently AED 150 per document, and then by the destination country's embassy at their own fee. We handle the MOFA step for AED 300 including courier and typically return it within three working days.

How do I pay, and what if I cannot make my slot?

Card or bank transfer at the office; government fees are collected at the counter and appear separately on your receipt. All prices include 5 percent VAT and a tax invoice is issued. Rescheduling is free with four hours notice; a no-show forfeits the AED 100 booking deposit.
