What does a lesson cost?

A 30-minute private lesson is AED 150, 45 minutes is AED 210 and 60 minutes is AED 270. Lessons are sold in terms of ten, which brings a 45-minute lesson down to AED 190 each. Group theory classes are AED 90 per session in groups of four to six.

Can I try before committing to a term?

Yes. A 30-minute trial lesson is AED 75 and is credited in full if you enrol for a term within two weeks. The trial covers a short playing assessment, a chat about goals, and a recommendation on instrument, lesson length and teacher.

What instruments and levels do you teach?

Piano, classical and acoustic guitar, violin, cello, drums and voice. We take absolute beginners from age five through to ABRSM and Trinity grade eight, plus adult returners and hobbyists with no exam goal at all. Music theory is taught up to grade five.

How do the term packages work?

A term is ten lessons booked on a fixed weekly slot, paid up front. Ten 30-minute lessons are AED 1,350, ten 45-minute lessons AED 1,900 and ten 60-minute lessons AED 2,450. Packages must be used within fourteen weeks and siblings enrolling together get 10 percent off the second child.

Do you prepare students for exams?

We enter students for ABRSM and Trinity College London practical and theory exams, held in Abu Dhabi in the March, June and November sessions. Exam entry fees are paid to the board separately and run roughly AED 500 to AED 1,100 depending on grade. We add a 60-minute mock exam before each session at no charge.

Do I need my own instrument?

For piano you need a weighted 88-key digital piano or acoustic at home before the third lesson; we can recommend models from AED 2,200. Violins and guitars can be rented from the studio at AED 120 a month including a case. Drums are practised on a pad at home, so no kit is needed.

How much practice is expected?

Fifteen to twenty minutes on five days a week for beginners, rising to 45 minutes daily around grade five and above. Progress tracks practice far more than talent or lesson length. Every lesson ends with written practice notes sent to the parent or student by email.

What are your hours and where are you?

We are on Zayed the First Street in Al Khalidiyah, Abu Dhabi, with free parking in the building basement. Weekday lessons run 2:00pm to 8:30pm, and Saturday 9:00am to 6:00pm which is our busiest day. Sunday to Thursday mornings are kept for adult students.

What if we miss a lesson?

Give us 24 hours notice and the lesson is rescheduled within the same term at no cost, subject to a free slot. Two make-ups are allowed per ten-lesson term. Lessons missed without notice are charged in full, and a teacher cancellation is always made up or refunded.
