What HVAC work do you cover?

Split and ducted AC servicing, gas charging, compressor and coil replacement, duct cleaning and sanitisation, FCU and AHU maintenance, chilled water system work and thermostat or BMS control faults. We handle villas, apartments, offices, retail units and light industrial warehouses. We do not install district cooling plant.

How much does a call-out cost?

AED 150 covers travel and the first 45 minutes of diagnosis anywhere in our standard Dubai zone. You get a fixed written quote before we open anything up, and the call-out fee is credited against the invoice if you approve the repair on the same visit.

My AC is not cooling. What is the likely cost?

The two most common causes are low refrigerant and a clogged filter or coil. R410A gas top-up with a leak check is AED 350 to AED 550 per unit, and a full coil and drain clean is AED 280. If the compressor has failed, replacement runs AED 1,200 to AED 2,600 depending on tonnage, and we quote before ordering.

Do you offer annual maintenance contracts?

Yes. A villa contract with four visits a year is AED 1,400 for up to five split units, and AED 250 per additional unit. It covers filter cleaning, coil wash, drain flushing, gas pressure checks and a written condition report, plus priority response and 15% off any parts.

How fast can you get to a total breakdown?

We keep two technicians on standby every day including Friday. For no-cooling calls in summer our target is same-day attendance if you contact us before 3:00pm, and within four hours for contract customers. Out-of-hours emergency attendance after 8:00pm is AED 300.

How often should ducts be cleaned?

Every two to three years for a normal villa, and annually for restaurants, clinics and anywhere with heavy dust ingress. A three-bedroom villa duct clean with before and after camera footage is AED 900 to AED 1,400 depending on the run length, and takes most of a day.

Are you licensed and insured?

Northwind holds a Dubai DED HVAC contracting licence and our technicians are trade certified in refrigerant handling. We carry AED 2 million public liability cover and can provide insurance and licence copies for building management approval before a job starts.

What warranty do you give?

Labour is guaranteed for six months and any part we supply carries the manufacturer warranty, typically one to three years, registered in your name. If the same fault returns inside the labour warranty, the return visit and diagnosis are free of charge.

Which areas do you serve?

All of Dubai and Sharjah as far as Al Nahda at standard rates. Ajman, Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates are scheduled visits with an AED 200 travel supplement. Tell me your community in chat and I will confirm the zone before we book a slot.
